Biography

Deborah is a bass player/composer/producer from the Netherlands. Besides electric bass she plays double bass, piano and loves to sing. From a young age she started playing piano, later on bass, and writing/recording her own songs. ‘Phrases of Freedom’ is the name of her debut album (2021, independent release) and refers tot he search of freedom within herself. Every song on this album portraits a feeling that she wants to acknowledge. In April 2023 she independently released her second album ‘Rosa’. Rosa is a collective name for a series of personal compositions on the subject of family. One of Deborah’s goals in composing music is not to limit herself to a genre to be able to write music free without expectations.
Through her music, Deborah hopes that that people can feel more emotions and thereby give more meaning to life.
